This is the music blog for the Cead Mile Failte website – a biography of Irish singer Eamonn McGirr. This is the new home for the ‘Proud to be Irish’ playlists and music. Cead Mile Failte means “One Hundred Thousand Welcomes”.
I’m revamping the blog. It’ll be a list of all artists that we play on our Radio Show ‘Proud to be Irish’. “Lady in the Mist” is a line from a song about Ireland. Hello Kathleen, I have looked all through our archives and haven’t found anything by Victor Cunneen called “The Fox Hunter” plus I believe the Fox Hunter is a reel by a band called King’s Galliard.
